Born in Torrance and raised in Newbury Park, Marcos followed his sibling into the gang lifestyle and was incarcerated at 15 — spending four years in juvenile detention and the California Youth Authority. As he matured, Marcos reached a turning point. Today he channels the lessons life has taught him, and the memory of friends who can no longer be saved, into mentoring youth to rebuild, believe in themselves and unlock their potential for good.
Born in the South and raised between North Carolina and California, Daniel is a devoted husband and father of six. A talented barber and entrepreneur, he combines his passion for barbering with mentorship through his program Catching Fadez — offering free haircuts, a listening ear and real guidance. Through his work with MANDO, Danny Boy lives out his purpose: giving back, building community, and using his gifts to inspire and serve others.
A cardiac radiologic technologist at UCLA. Born in Sylmar, California and raised in Thousand Oaks, Felix turned his life around after tough early years and time as an incarcerated youth. Today he uses his lived experience to connect with others as a credible messenger — showing that growth, change and second chances are always possible.
